← Army PT in the bag! Bet you all didn't know there are fitness trainers in the ARMY, MFTs (Master Fitness Trainers) We send them to a course to learn and implement the PRT program within their respective units. Today ours wasn't able to attend, but his backup put us through an improvised circuit consisting of Kettlebell swings, Oblique V-ups, Weighted Arm circles, Elevated Pushups, Weighted Mason Twists. Each one for one minute, AMRAP (As many reps as possible), repeated 4 times. Then we followed that by a 20 minute stationary bike ride.Pretty good for a Sunday morning! PT complete!

The world is called Build Shoulders and I felt it every rep because of yesterday's Total Body focus on my shoulders. I had to ratchet down the weights about 5lbs in a lot of moves to get proper form.If you are swinging the body, or not using muscle to move the weight through the movement, take it back a notch so that the move becomes fluid and the muscle has more time under tension.MMake your Wednesday great, go out and do something that scares ya out of your comfort zone a step or two. Perhaps that's saying hello to a stranger, smiling a bit more, or staring on that new goal that you have been dreading. →
