Feet… My dogs are howling… Rest day… So I ran a mile and walked 2. 3.17 total.Felt good honestly. Just watched a show, and tuned out everything else, laughed a bit, and didn't have a care. Sometimes we just need those times to shut everything out for an hour or so.So I'm curious, what show or series are you currently watching?, what do you like about it?

- Love this guy. He helped me believe in myself and quit focusing on the negative when so much positive was in my life. Go visit his profile! #Repost @perrytinsley・・・#tbt Here is a Thursday Throwback that actually helped me move Forward. It's always challenging to relive these moments, but here goes..What you see here is a person who made a decision to stop getting fat and avoid inevitable diabetes path I was on. I committed to following a plan one day at a time. Some days were very hard and it would have been so easy to not show up!.But I decided to commit even if obstacles happened. And they happened A LOT!.The BIGGEST CHALLENGE on this journey was to keep pushing forward despite the visit from the County Coroner one evening telling me my wife had been killed in a car crash. .Try and keep pushing forward when your life is suddenly spinning out of control!!.Yet this was the very thing I could control! Me! Putting myself first when life seemed to rip your heart out and change life as you know it. .Move FORWARD! Painfully Forward! Depressingly Forward. Differently forward. But still… FORWARD!.Every day I would show up to my workouts and just do my best. This was my survival mechanism. My escape. My empowerment..For those of you who have lost someone, you know the struggle it is to just keep going. Life becomes different. We never get past it. We adjust. But it's always different. Taking care of yourself is SO HARD, yet we do have choices..I am so grateful for the life I have and for the choices I have made. Not all of them have been easy. Usually, it's the ones that are most difficult and challenging that provide the most growth..I am grateful to continue to show up each day and strive to do my best. In health, fitness, family and so much more!.I am also grateful for the people I get to serve so they can join me on a journey of health and fitness and empower themselves to move forward!.If you resonate at all with struggling to get started, overcoming loss, breaking thru obstacles and stress, or just staying consistent with a plan, COMMENT BELOW. I am ready to serve. I'd love to get you details on how you can put yourself first!
- My days have felt a little chaotic as of lately. Travel, day job, coaching, family, extracurricular activities…the list goes on and on…as it does for all of us. It's called life, right? Anyway, I know the thing that helps me most is living by a schedule/calendar, and being disciplined with my time, which allows me to be present, and old friends often referred to it as "Be Where You Are." So I am curious do you live by a calendar? Which calendar do you use (electronic or handwritten), and what do you like most about it. Also, have you attended a time management course, if so what was it?
