#Repost @powerofonegirl・・・On our journey to happiness, it's important that we keep moving forward in life, no matter what. So take a minute to set a new goal and then write it down so you stay accountable. These #PowerOfOneChallenge s are here to help you become your best self, as they create happiness in your every day life. The POWER is in you!! President Kimball said, "We must have goals to make progress…progress is easier when it is timed, checked, and measured. Goals are good. Laboring with distant aim sets the mind in a higher key and puts us at our best. Goals should always be made to a point that will make us reach and strain." President Monson has given us 3 goals to work on:1. Study diligently.2. Pray earnestly.3. Serve willingly.(Three goals to guide you, Monson, October 2007)Take a moment to watch these two very inspired videos: https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2013-03-012-inviting-to-act-setting-goals?lang=eng&category=youth-curriculum/teaching-tipshttps://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2007-04-038-how-to-set-goals?lang=engElder Scott said "Somebody can talk about something until they are blue in the face and nothing happens. When you set a goal, an objective and begin to work to it, then the spirit comes in and gives guidance. You have some concrete idea of what you're going to do and you've got something to measure against so you know how well you're doing it…You will be reinforced by guidance of the spirit." So pick one of the above goals or pick your own, but see if you can find a way to tie it into preparing you for conference this upcoming weekend. You will be blessed by striving for improvement. I'm excited to see what goal you set for yourself. It can be long term or short term but once you have it, share it on any social media site with the #PowerOfOneChallenge. Believe you can achieve it, your Heavenly Father believes in you and He will help you!Aren't goals exciting?! Good luck! I'm over here cheering you all on! #Goals #LDS #Mormon #YoungMen #dreams #workhard #JustNowPosting #GeekOut #DreamBigger #GeekOutFitness #ericburganfitness
